Frequently Asked Questions
Plain-English answers to common questions. This is general information, not tax advice. Call us to talk about your own situation.
Do you work with individuals or only businesses?
Both. Quiroz Tax Advisory works with individuals and families as well as small businesses, self-employed people and 1099 earners.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Georgetown, Texas, and serve Georgetown, Williamson County and the Austin area.
Do I need both a bookkeeper and a tax preparer?
Many small businesses use both. A bookkeeper keeps your records up to date during the year, and a tax preparer uses those records to file your returns. We offer bookkeeping, tax preparation and tax planning, so all three can be handled in one place.
What should I bring to my first tax appointment?
Bring a photo ID, last year's tax return, and the income and expense documents for the tax year, such as W-2s and 1099s. If you own a business, bring your income and expense records too. We'll let you know if anything else is needed for your situation.
How do I get started?
Call us at (737) 667-3132 or send a note through our contact page. We'll talk about what you need and the next steps.
